Andrea Luk graduated from Boston University, obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood Education) from the University of Hong Kong, and earned a Certificate for Kindergarten Principals from Hong Kong Baptist University. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Education program at the University of Hong Kong.
As Head of the English Department, Andrea plays on her strengths in both the Western and Eastern culture, and aims to help children build a strong foundation in early education for a bright future.
At Creative, she leads a team in developing the English curriculum, organizing school activities, and designing learning assessments. When conducting lesson observations and regular meetings with English teachers, she evaluates, guides, and improves teaching quality and practices. Andrea is also a key person in updating textbooks and learning materials to better complement children’s growing needs and interests. In addition to in-class preparations, she offers professional training to our English teachers. Through regular consultation with teachers, she supports and encourages teachers to maximize each child’s learning potentials.
At Creative Kindergarten, we have a team of over 20 qualified and highly experienced native English-speaking teachers with Bachelor's or Master's degree from United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Australia.
Creative Kindergarten's exceptional English language program is planned with similar characteristics and themes as its Chinese language program counterpart. This allows students to learn more effectively, and to comprehend and practice the language in a relevant and engaging environment.
Creative Kindergarten aims to keep the spirit of “Joyful Learning” alive among our students. Together with our team of teaching experts, we believe our outstanding language programs are capable of enhancing children's language development and encouraging them to express themselves confidently with the use of English.
