Our English Teachers                   At Creative Kindergarten, we have a team of over 10 highly qualified and dedicated ESL teaching professionals. All our ESL teaching professionals are native English speakers. Some are educated in the UK; others are trained in Canada and the USA. Most of them have Bachelor’s Degrees, with many holding a diploma for teaching ESL or a Master’s degree as well.     To maintain teaching standards and consistency in teaching approach, we have two local directors in charge. Our resident directors are Winnie Wong, educated at the University of Michigan and David Lai, educated at Yale University. Both Winnie and David have over 15 years experience in teachers’ training and curriculum development. From time to time, we also make use of research findings from early childhood education expert Dr. Joan Bergstrom at Wheelock College, USA.     At the end of each school term, we update and upgrade our English learning curriculum. This is to ensure that the content and lesson plans are appropriate and relevant to the child’s linguistic development at each age.     Finally, we continue to conduct a series of training workshops that help local teachers upgrade and improve their standards in oral and classroom English. The local teachers play a very useful role as assistants to our ESL teaching professionals.     At Creative, we aim to keep the spirit of ‘Joyful Learning’ alive among our preschoolers! All our children enjoy learning English every day and many become bilingual upon graduation.
